The Important Thing Is That You Remain Positive & Communicate!
Sometimes, but not always, we have a bad day at the office. But as bad as that day might get, the important thing(s) to remember are:
- Communicate, and
- Remember, It could always be worse
The Internet (e-mail, instant messaging, etc.) and phones (voice-mails, text messaging) make it impossible to come up with an excuse for "failed communication." Why? Well that's an easy one to answer! It's because it's easy to type the following and click [SEND].
"Hi Jim,
I know we had a 10:00am phone appointment but I have an urgent matter that requires my attention. Everything is under control so there is no need to worry. I'll contact you promptly at 10:45am.
Thank you for understanding.
Sincerely,
Mr. Mortgage"
And it's just as easy to pick up the phone and utter these very words and/or leave a voice-mail!
And if you think the client won't forgive you for re-scheduling, well, it could be worse...cuz they certainly won't forgive you for failing to communicate!
So whether you're a Real Estate Agent, Loan Officer, or an Executive Assistant in an entirely different industry...remember, as bad as things might seem, communicate! It's that simple. After all, things could be worse.

Great Video! That is the thing to keep telling yourself. No matter how bad it gets, it could always be worse.

That's right! I mean we have one of two choices, 1.) sit there and complain, or 2.) stay positive and get it done! I'm for #2.
